Dit jaar biedt de ISBD de unieke gelegenheid om deel te nemen aan het jaarlijkse congres, dat vanwege de corona-pandemie online plaatsvindt op vrijdag 19 en zaterdag 20 juni, met de mogelijkheid om alle presentaties al vanaf donderdag 18 juni te bekijken.
Het oorspronkelijke programma is daarbij zoveel mogelijk aangehouden en de sprekers hebben daar ook aan meegewerkt. Zoals altijd lopen er verschillende lijnen parallel (klinisch, research, expert by experience), en zijn er pre-conference courses, alles voor een gereduceerd tarief, met een verdere reductie bij aanmelding voor 1 juni. Door de online vorm, en het geruime tijd beschikbaar blijven van de presentaties, is het dus mogelijk om in principe alles te volgen, ook wat oorspronkelijk parallel gepresenteerd zou worden. Daarmee kunnen dus ook veel accreditatiepunten worden verdiend.

Why register for the conference before the June 1st early registration deadline?
- 35 hours of programming in 40 sessions to be released on June 18th with significantly reduced registration fees
- Pre-recorded content has enabled the provision of a broad range of CME offerings (37.5 credit hours) and eliminated the need to choose between one of 5 concurrent sessions.
- The content will be available for 30 days after the conference has concluded, assuring delegates will be able to attend everything that is of interest to them. Importantly, both the ability to view the content sequentially and over a longer period of time will make it possible to claim all the additional CME credits that are now available.
- The live events in the conference will run over two full days (June 19th and 20th) spanning a number of time zones and consist of two sessions every day so that everyone is able to participate ‘live’ no matter where they are in the world.
- Live events will consist of both interactive poster sessions, where presenters can offer links to virtual conference rooms for discussion, and Q&A sessions that will be organized in line with the content of the meeting.
